• Annoyance accepting speech that introduce far away, such as in concert halls, theatres, or churches.
• Problem in hearing a phone ring.
• Problem in hearing when in a group of people or in the existence of background noise, such as traffic.
• Escaping social gatherings and other public occurence where they might feel disconcerted about misunderstanding others.

Symptoms of hearing loss
* Hearing but not understanding
* Turning up the volume on the TV
* Must lip read to understand speech
* Cannot hear environmental sounds such as game calls, traps releasing, crickets, etc.
* Strained personal relationships, denial
* Social withdrawal
* Fatigue and stress
