Could you rephrase the question, I'm not sure what you are asking?

I think I can answer a little.

There are many causes that can cause hearing loss at birth. A virus such as rubella can cause congenital rubella syndrome if the mother gets it whilst pregnant. The baby may be deaf because of genetics-it's auditory nerves or ear formation (middle ear bones etc) might not have formed right. And things can happen during the birth that cause lack of oxygen to the brain, that can result in damage.

There are really many reasons a baby can be born deaf.

Some people are born with hearing impairment — and kids and teens can lose their hearing for many reasons. If you don't know anyone who is deaf or hearing impaired, chances are you will someday. So what causes hearing impairment, and what it's like to live without being able to hear in a world full of sounds?

Well yeah you're right , there were some cases that it all started during pregnancy, its the stage where all the organs of the baby are developed, and if there were complications, then it could be one of the reason or causes for this impairment.

Hmm... What I can imagine from what you're asking is that an unborn child suddenly has hearing problems. If that's the case then its hereditary.

Why of course yes. It depends on the genetics of the mother if there is anyone in her (or her husband's) family who has hearing illness. Then it is possible for their child to inherit that as well. Like what Savvyeyty has said, it is hereditary.

I believe so, but there are other factors that can contribute to an impaired child.
