"Email me with your answers! An ASL survey of deaf people to find out what kind of news is most preferred. Please send me your answers to survey questions! You can use email, or click on the comment button(s). For people who don't know sign language, basically this video talks about Deaf people and their frustrations with getting news on TV and online. News programs on TV often have captioning that is not spelled right, making it hard to understand, and also some lose it in the middle of the program. At least one does not even bother to caption on the weekends (Deaf people don't need the news on weekends??). Another problem is that online news videos do not have captioning, so it is frustrating to watch talking heads with interesting things happening behind them, but no way to find out what is going on! Then follows a 6 question survey to find out what deaf people like in the news. Forward to all your friends who use sign language.. we would like as much response as possible."
