The newest technology wherein a certain user of an hearing aid has the capability of hearing a direct speech even the user is in a certain environment distorted with noise, the technology reduces the unwanted noise, so the user will able to understand whatever conversation he/she is in directly from the person he/she was talking to.

Is this the one where the doctors will drill the skin just at the back of your ear to connect the microphone in the part of your skull where you can hear? Is it?

Drill in the skin to put up a microphone?Seriously? That's really scary, nobody wants to drilled on the back of the head and inserted with a microphone. Are there any side effects about that surgery? Is it temporary or for a lifetime use? What's the odds of the operation?

Nope a person will no longer undergone any surgery he/she because this only a transparent hearing aid loaded with the new technology, wherein other people will not notice that the person uses a hearing aid. The device is a foreign body, now days it is not yet possible to install hearing aid inside a skull.

So this is not literally drilling in someone's head? I thought they would really drill your skull and put some device inside.

Oh I get it now. So this one's not gonna be inside your ear but it has a high-tech microphone that is better in aiding people in hearing.
But as far as I can recall there is a surgeon now who drills the skull to put a hearing implant. It cost a lot but its the most effective hearing aid today.

That's good news I thought it was literally drilling a hole in a patient's skull. Well that's a relief for everyone.
