Did you know that using cotton swabs can cause tinnitus? It is not recommended because it pushes the earwax through the ear drums. One preventive way is also by using earplugs when your working in a very noisy environment. It is also important to have a good cardiovascular exercises regularly to help reduce the occurrence of tinnitus that are linked to blood vessel disorders.

Hello, thanks for sharing that in here. Do you also know how cardio vascular exercises can help us prevent tinnitus? I mean, how it is related? I'm curious.

I think cardio exercises can help with the proper circulation of the blood. Which prevents any clots to the ears. But I really don't know what's the real deal about it. What do you think sherlock?

Actually, that did happen to me. I've bee hearing that "tiiiing" sound for awhile. Then wee went swimming and my ears got blocked with water. When I went to the doctor, he told me I had tinnitus. And that was because I clean my ears with cotton swabs too often. Boy, was I surprised! He told me not to clean with cotton swabs everyday, once every three will do.
