No, the person who pulls the trigger cause the violence.
If you put a loaded gun on table and just leave it there, it's not going to fire is it ? Now, if you move that gun and put it in some body's hand, then that person will cause the violence that the gun will make damage to.

Your point is well taken but not so fast. Because if there is no gun at the table then there won't be risk for having a gun that can be used for violence in the first place.
Your answer about it is correct but this answer is too.

Categorically speaking yes it wont move , but who put the loaded gun on the table? Actually its the people who invented guns and those who buys it and use it in a bad way that causes all the violence and troubles.

I think the person who uses the gun because he/she has the rational thinking of using it or not, so every person has the capability of deciding when to use it either to good or evil doings.

Can we answer both? I would love to. Anyways, this is a dilemma that cannot easily be answered huh? Mine would be People now. Because if there are no people, then there won't be guns in the first place.

I believe that people causes violence. People are the one who made and could use the gun. The gun won't exist or even function without human intervention. A thing can't do anything without a user, people could do anything.

Yeah that is what I am trying to say here also, its the motive and who acts on it is liable .

It's the people and the guns that cause the violence. People make the guns, people use the guns and that's all there is too it really. A gun is a weapon.

I think this is a dilemma that does not really have a specific answer. This is a very good topic though. But it would take a lot of thinking to finally conclude which one of the two that really causes it.

Without any doubts the people cause the violence. There is no possibility to annihilate the violence as a social phenomena. But we have a lot of chances to decrease this phenomenon.

Gun is only a thing, it needs a person to use that thing, so gun don't cause violence, people do, people who abused their position, and status in life..

Gun is just a thing and people are the only ones who uses it to make violence but you cannot change the fact that if there is no gun then there is no violence that can be made with it.
