You're wrong about the joke. People look for useful information on these forums and discuss pro's and con's about different hearing aids. If you are looking for price comparisons good luck, they vary from brand to brand, and from one geographic area to the next. Me, I have the Oticon Epoqs Rite P's, no streamer, paid 6800 for them and feel very comfortable with what I got for the price, actually they were less than the Audibels I bought 6 years ago and I don't have to worry about Audibel tampering with them in order to sell me new ones. My advice is just to stay away from chain brand hucksters (Audibel, Beltone, & Miracle Ear).

Yeah you're right gene, it really varies, and I don't think too that this forum is a joke or something, thanks for further explaining us here about this issue.

So if a normal person would wear a hearing aid, will it make his hearing keener? I think so, but I have never heard a normal person dared wearing one.

That same goes with me too sherlock, and I don't think I will bother wearing one either what about you huh?

There are many actually. The last that I remember from this site was a bank that offers hearing aids to people for free. And there are many other banks and institutions that offers this kind of service. If I see it here again, I'll let you know.

I am sure that there are many governmental and private organisations that are providing hearing aid to the senior citizens free of charge. In addition there are many religious associations with the same propositions. But you should be reasonable while making the choice of the organisation.

I don't think you have to find and buy yourself your own hearing aid. I think it would always be better if you would just see the doctor and let them advise you of what hearing aid to look for.

I completely agree with your point of view. It is much better almost in all cases to use the advice or the aid from the expert. I think that it is too much of the advertising materials today and unfortunately in many cases the information in the advertisements is not truthful.

Mainly schools that cater to students with special needs are primarily private ones Kim. But majority of these schools are funded by an organization or by the government.

May be it is only my opinion but I am fixing in the last time the growth of the amount of the information about the negative influence of the different diets to the human organism. The small successes in the weight loss lead in the future to the serious diseases. May be it is time to stop dieting for the weight loss purposes?

I am absolutely sure that there should be foods that can improve our sense of hearing. I think that we should make some research in the Chinese or Indian medicine to find these types of medications.

Thank you very much for the perfect advice. I should admit that it really works without any doubts. And it shows more positive results when it's being used in the company of friends or at least the like-minded persons.

The only addition I'd like to do is that this method of the weight loss should be considered as the additional one. And it should be used with caution and only after the consultation with the doctor.
